July is another calm month for the literary world with few awards and a short festival calendar. Also the list of books being published is on the short side but there are some interesting reads coming up. In the below list I have included several books in translation, by writers from Israel, Germany and South Africa among others. The Reason I Jump has been translated from Japanese by David Mitchell and his wife, originally just for private use, as his own son has autism.
