We have to wait for later in the year for the biggest award ceremonies, but fans of children’s fiction can look forward to the announcement of three awards this month, with the ALSC (Association for Library Service to Children), Cybils and Red House awards all being presented.

February see plenty of fairs and festivals spread over 4 continents, including a fair in my hometown Brussels!

The February publication schedule includes a couple of exciting psychological thrillers, (The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson and Second Life by S.J. Watson) as well as some intriguing debuts, including the much talked about novel Find Me by Laura van den Berg, Our Endless Numbered Days by Claire Fuller and Anna Smaill’s The Chimes. My hands are itching to get hold of one of three those first novels.
