The month has barely begun and already the next few days has plenty in store for literary fans. Not only does this week see the publication of a host of interesting books, but the winners of the Baileys Prize and Wales Book of the Year are announced. But there is much to look forward too later in the month as well. In the second half of the month we have, among others, the announcements of the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and Miles Franklin Award, and the publication of Milan Kundera’s first book in 13 years. It may be only 115 pages long, but the French original has topped charts in France, Italy and Spain.
